DR JIMMY CHEN
CEO

Dr Jinming (Jimmy) Chen has trained and worked in the Austin Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Epworth Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, the Harbin Medical University Hospital and the People’s Liberation Army 150th Central hospital, China as a Clinical Cardiology Fellow and Cardiologist. He has spent nearly thirty years in the practice of medicine and retains a contract with two Chinese Medical Universities as Senior Consultant Cardiologist. He is one of the founders and Chief Executive Officer of UUNZ Institute of Business, Dr Chen has a comprehensive knowledge of the education systems in both the Peoples Republic of China and New Zealand and has fostered close links with education leaders in Asia particularly in the Peoples Republic of China.  In addition to his clinical and educational roles he is President of the New Zealand Henanese Association, CEO of the New Zealand Health Foundation for Asian and Ethnic Communities, an overseas member of the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, a member of the Overseas Advisory Committee of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of the PRC and Deputy Chair of the Overseas Exchange Associations of both Heilongjiang and Henan Provinces of the PRC.


NASEEM RAHMAN
ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT

I hold Masters of Business with a major in Management Systems, as well as Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems from Massey University.  I have been teaching at UUNZ for more than six years.
I am constantly upgrading my business and IT skills and bringing new ideas in teaching and learning. In addition to teaching I am also responsible for academic matters at UUNZ. Here you will find a very strong academic team waiting to welcome and support you! 

HASAN MOHAMMOD 
ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT

I have a BBA and a MBA in Marketing, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma of Business from the University of Southern Queensland at UUNZ. I was a sales manager for a cellphone company and have also worked in financial services as a Assistant Vice President in a bank before coming to New Zealand. In both positions my managerial skills were an essential requirement. After coming to New Zealand, I started my teaching career. I have taught at the International College of NZ, Queens Academic Group and UUNZ. I believe the mix of my hands-on experience and formal qualifications will greatly benefit the students here at UUNZ.

I came to New Zealand as a language student 11 years ago. I graduated from University of Auckland, majoring in Teaching.  I have been working in the education area for 7 years as a teacher or marketing manager. I love travelling, watching movies, reading books and meeting new people. My marketing job at UUNZ suits me well!
